Why we’re effective
Why we’re effective
We are committed to building a blue marine economy by exploring, documenting and efficiently managing the biological diversity and marine ecosystem of the Bay of Bengal.
Community-led research, education, campaign and conservation processes are the main building blocks of our actions to conserve marine and coastal ecosystems.
SOS has already taken a path of Explore-Document-Display to conserve the marine ecosystem. It is running explorations in various parts of the Bay and producing visual content to distribute in public.
It started to work on a plan for an underwater survey of biodiversity in the Saint Martin’s and Nijhum Dweep’s habitat.
